- Develop strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward major and planned gifts through relationships with undergraduate alumni, graduate alumni, parents, and friends through which to identify prospects who have the capacity and potential inclination to support Queens College Foundation.

- Develop and manage a personal portfolio of 150-175 donors and prospects, as well as maintain relationships with prospects, new donors, current donors, high net-worth individuals, and community leaders.

- Maintain and increase donor and alumni participation in addition to meeting mutually agreed upon financial and qualitative goals.

- Work closely with the Director of Development, senior administrators and Queens College Foundation Board members to guide cultivation and stewardship of major donor relationships.

- Work across academic and administrative departments and with senior leaders such as Deans and faculty, to understand priorities and engage them as needed to build strong donor relationships.

- Design experiences for prospects (visits to campus, attending alumni events, exposure to academic and other College staff, engaging them as leaders, etc.) that will strengthen their interest in Queens College .

- Track prospect and donor contact, status, and next steps in a donor relationship management database; includes record keeping and reporting to both internal and external concerns, ensuring that a flow of information (reports, proposals, letters, materials for prospects) is handled efficiently and smoothly.

- Work with prospect research staff to conduct research to identify and quality major gifts prospects.

- Serve as a key member of the fundraising team, participating in developing strategies to achieve department-wide goals.

- Other duties and special projects as assigned by the Director of Development.
