- A minimum of ten years of experience in financial resource development, including proven success in cultivating and securing major gifts ($25k+), and in building and maintaining long-term relationships with major individual donors, foundations, and corporations.

- Entrepreneurial self-starter with a high energy level, accustomed to and comfortable within a lean work environment

- Skills and discipline to use donor and contact management systems and other technologies necessary in an international fundraising structure.

- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to share a passion for the mission and to inspire individuals and audiences; capable of clearly articulating a case for giving.

- Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication, and flexibility to work in an ever-changing complex work environment.

- Outstanding stewardship and relationship management skills.

- A strong work ethic, ability to maintain and model high personal, ethical and professional standards, as well as an outgoing and positive personality. A sense of humor and perspective are considered assets.

- Familiarity with Jewish community structures and institutions, and knowledge of Israel.

- An authentic commitment to the mission and goals of the agency.

- High standard for quality and productivity, focusing on results.

- Ability and inclination to work as part of a team.

- Experience with a national fundraising program would be beneficial.

- A Bachelors degree is required; Masters degree preferred.

- Hebrew language ability a plus.
