Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Development Officer is a newly created position tasked with developing and executing Shatterproofs major individual, corporate and foundation fundraising strategy.

A critical component of the CDOs work involves working with a high profile Board of Directors, advising them on and supporting their efforts to secure and steward major gifts to expand Shatterproofs ability to fund the organizations mission.

In 2016, Shatterproof raised approximately $6M. Four years into Shatterproofs inception, the organization is poised to raise over $7.5M in cash and $5M in donated goods and services in 2017. This years total includes a successful gala that raised $700K with only $40K in expenses.

The CEO and board have high expectations that Shatterproof will continue to grow its fundraising as its education and advocacy efforts expand and as a national major gifts and institutional giving program is developed and implemented.

Marketing and Fundraising Events
As part of developing awareness of the disease, bringing families together, and to develop a pipeline for support, Shatterproof has created a successful series of fundraising events that take place around the country. The grassroots events are managed by the Chief Marketing Officer who in turn will work closely with the Chief Development Officer in the creation of a donor pipeline that will build major individual and corporate giving.
